A curious thought. Could it be that this entire list is
comprised of the descendants of the players in Spenser's
and Sidney's lives, destined by some capricious fate to
reenact their arguments and rivalries in the modern age?
Via email? A campus novel suggests itself, if only
Robertson Davies were alive to write it.
