Here is info on software (among many other things), and also subscribe info
on a very active mailinglist (socnet) where you also might want to post
your inquiry.
I have no personal experience with social network analysis, nor with the
interesting idea of hooking software for that purpose up with QDA software.
I am curious about both however - please do forward a summary of your
findings.
some years ago I was considering to pursue social network analysis as part
of my anthropological fieldwork for my PhD, but I abandoned the idea as I
gradually realized how timeconsuming it would be to do a descent job. In
case you are not already aware of this, my recommendation would be not to
underestimate the amount of work involved in this kind of analysis - it is
a major undertaking, no less so if you want to combine it with other
research methods.
