I agree with Harald. Which program to use depends on your needs -
but then of course one of the interesting things about the more
advanced programs is that as you learn about them you develop new
needs!
A colleague and I are current trialling Nvivo and Qualrus - we checked
out such reviews as we could find (not many); went to training
sessions; downloaded demo versions and compared notes with other
users before deciding on these. Its certainly worth downloading demo
versions, and trying them out on the kind of computer you intend to
use - we found Nvivo does not display very clearly at 800x600 but this
is a typical kind of setup for many of us here (I'd be grateful if
someone would contradict me, and tell me how to get a clearer more
readable display).
