Dear All,
I hope you are now mostly actively engaged with your surveys - enjoying
watching the counter click upwards and reading the comments of your users
with the usual mixture of pride and concern.
I have not received any questions or comments recently, other than on
demographics and the details of where to categorise certain courses and
staff groups. I take this to mean good news in the sense that everyone seems
to be proceeding successfully. Please let me know if this is not the case.
Could I please ask you for a response on two things, ideally from each
institution:
SCONUL Conference 2-4th April 2003, Lancaster
I will be conducting a Workshop at the above conference which will provide
the opportunity to inform the membership of progress on the LibQUAL+ UK
pilot and to seek their views on broader issues of user satisfaction. I
would be grateful for any comments or opinions on the survey methodology,
process and experience so far. This will help me to leaven the theory with
some practical views from those involved.
5th Northumbria Conference Monday 28th July onwards, Durham
I am grateful to those who have indicated that they would like accommodation
on the Sunday night preceding our proposed workshop on the morning of Monday
28th. As those numbers are quite small I would like to clarify the likely
attendance at this workshop. Could I please have from each institution an
indication of whether you will be attending and if so how many. There is
likely to be no or minimal charge for attendance at the workshop as the
conference will provide the room gratis. I have had my proposed paper on the
UK Pilot accepted, and I would be interested to know if anyone else has
successfully submitted on this subject.
Best wishes
