italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies
Hello--
I wonder if anyone on the list is doing work on the
sixteenth-century Giganti family of Fossombrone, or might know of anyone
who is? I am especially interested in the family relationship of Girolamo
Giganti (a giuresconsulto who spent much of his career in Venice and
Padua; d. circa 1566) and Clarice Giganti, called "da Fossombrone", who
married Niccolo Brunetti and lived in Carrara. She was alive in 1581.
Thank you very much for any help or hints.
