Write back and ask if they can supply any professional referees who
approve of the scheme.
I assume most of the "public open spaces" are council owned and that
digging holes in them without permission is not allowed.

Dear All,
Most of us should have received the TT missive by now. So who's going
to appear curmudgeonly first by saying "no" or "yes, but only if you pay
me" ?? If we are not supposed to "supervise", what happens if the
punters are doing it wrong, or finding some real goodies when the
nearest TT person is the other side of the country ?
