Dear Colleagues:
Thank you for taking a look at our new yearbook _Gegenwartsliteratur_.
Many of you have responded, and I am happy to say that we have received
a good number of new submissions. The second volume is already in good
shape, and we are now looking for submissions for the third volume.
_Gegenwartsliteratur_ publishes articles -- in English or German -- on
the literature of the past three decades from the German-speaking
countries.
Today I would like to make you aware of one of the best international
Germanistik journals, i.e., _Recherches Germaniques_. This journal
accepts articles -- written in either German, French, or English -- in
all fields of German literature from the Middle Ages to the 20th
century. They also do theme issues, like the wonderful Goethe issue
that resulted from the Goethe year 1999. You can get in touch with
Prof. Maillard via email at: [log in to unmask]
