Hi there Rolf,
Our faceLAB system is a stereo-vision based head-tracker that provides
robust and non-intrusive measurements on head position, eye-gaze and
blink behaviour (also PERCLOS). We have extensive experience both in
simulators and test vehicles, a comprehensive set of analysis tools, and
real-time or offline feedback. As faceLAB does not rely on IR or
magnetic/tethered head-tracking I think you may want to consider it for
your application.
Our new system, faceLAB 3.0 ships in April 2003 and features a zero
setup time, automatic head-tracker (the system can be placed in a wait
state requiring only a subject's head to begin tracking and
transmitting/logging data). No prior knowledge of the subject is
required.
Information on the system may be found at http://www.seeingmachines.com
or feel free to contact me off-list for further information.
Best Regards,
Gavin.

Subject: Re: [EM_LIST] Replacing magnetic head-tracker by optical
head-tracker?
Hi Rolf
In our lab we have much experience with optic-electronic trackers, with
either passive or active markers. Now we use the Qualisys system for
tracking head and arm movements. However, we are not able to use the
Qualisys with our ASL as there is no integration between these systems.
This is a problem! /Kerstin At 10:56 2003-03-25 +0100, you wrote:
