Dear Jenny,
Grace Hudson and I have just come back from the EDC
national coordinators meeting in Brussels where we tried to
get a straight answer to this very question. Apparently a
decision has already been taken not to continue publishing
COM docs on fiche and paper because they are online on
Eur-Lex but neither DG Press nor EUR-OP has informed us
officially yet. Large hints were dropped at our meeting in
London last year and COM docs for 2003 have started coming
through but probably not for long. The Commission is aware
of our feelings on the subject but I don't think they're
going to change their minds.
Best wishes
Patrick Overy
