Direct Payments - Maximising choice and control?
Do direct payments provide disabled adults, young disabled 16 and 17 year
olds and those individuals with parental responsibility with more choice,
control and freedom over their lives?
Scope will be conducting a piece of in-depth qualitative research into
direct payments from the perspective of disabled people. We wish to identify
the strengths, weaknesses and barriers to accessing direct payments across
England.
We are seeking a researcher with experience of conducting qualitative social
research within the field of disability, ideally with a knowledge of direct
payments.
If you are a researcher and would like to know more about this project then
please contact either Kate Mcmullen on tel: 020 7619 7258 e-mail
