Do you really intend these messages to go to a cast of thousands? Could you
send just to the person concerned.
Thanks.

Dear Alan
Thanks for your very helpful message. You seem an ideal person to write on
this topic. We would therefore very much like to include you. So, let's put
you down for:
Labour Markets (1000)
(Any interest in doing 'job security' (500 words) too? If so, please say.)
So, assuming this is OK, I am copying this message to Aileen Harvey, the
editor at Routledge, who in time will send you a contract and style guide /
instructions by email. Of course, do ask us if you have any questions.
Thank you so much for your support and interest! We are very pleased to have
you as a contributor.

Hullo T.J Forsyth
I am a labour economist with a professional interest in labour markets in
developing countries, notably China, where I hold a guest chair at Shanghai
Jiao Tong University, South east Asia and East Africa
I would be interested in writing the labour markets entry for the proposed
volume. I have already published the same title in the Thomson IEMB series,
edited by Malcolm Warner. In addition I have also recently contributed a
monograph on labour markets for the IEMB Handbook of Economics, edited by
Bill Lazonick.
My details are as follows.
