This e-mail is to let you know about the QRA 2nd INTERNATIONAL
POSTGRADUATE PALAEO-ENVIRONMENTS SYMPOSIUM to be held from the 10-12th
September 2003 at the Department of Geography, Queen Mary, University of
London.
The symposium will provide an opportunity for post-grads from all
disciplines of quaternary science to discuss their work with their peers
in a relaxed environment. The first two days of poster & oral
presentations with guest speakers will be followed by a full day field
course visiting sites in the Thames Estuary. There will be a drinks
reception on the first night and a full social program throughout the
conference, including a conference dinner included in the price.
Accommodation for delegates will be arranged in modern halls of
residence on campus.

We can now confirm that our first guest speaker on the afternoon of
Wednesday 10th September 2003 will be Dr Danielle Schreve from Royal
Holloway, University of London who will talk on "The Life and death of a
Woolly Rhino"

Our registration and abstract deadline is 31st July 2003 but taking the
'early bird' option and registering before 31st May 2003 will guarantee
