ALT Membership survey 2003
We need your feedback!
Deadline: 21 March 2003
Since the last survey in 1999 ALT has responded to the most popular
comments received from members by taking action on the following:
* seeking greater collaboration with other organisations (eg
ASCILITE, Becta, ILT, JISC, LTSN, TechDis, TechLearn, SURF, UCISA)
* publishing more reviews of software (eg the ALT-N special issue on
VLEs)
* producing occasional publications on various topics (eg Access All
Areas, 2002)
As demand was not high last time, ALT did not pursue a separate
accreditation scheme for learning technologists. ALT policy until now
has been to encourage members in UK higher education to join the ILT
(which is quite easy for LT officers) and we have collaborated with
the ILT where we felt this has been of assistance to ALT members. We
would like to know more about your feelings on this issue.
We also began a series of regional meetings around the UK and started
circulating fortnightly digests on national developments to all
members by email.
To plan our services for you we now need your responses to a new
questionnaire. Individual members should complete the survey and
enter our prize draw of a £100 book token at
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=3141175625
Institutional and corporate members should complete the survey at
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=45400175629
If you are both an individual member and the ALT contact for your
institution, please complete both surveys!
The information collected from both surveys will inform our
planning and strategy, and help ensure we are providing you
with the best service possible.
Please complete by 21 March 2003.
Thank you for your time.
