That doesn't quite explain the large numbers of Ozzies and Kiwis that we see
in London, Robbie, but maybe you're talking about permanent relocation,
whereas I'm referring to mainly transient relocation. It might also be a
London thing only, as they often use London as a base to explore Europe
while they're here. And you didn't mention RSA to UK movement; we see a lot
of (excellent) South Africans here in London. Actually all the antipodeans
we see are excellent, but that might be because we see a self-selected
bunch, i.e. those with the initiative and resourcefulness to travel tend to
be more "switched on" in work. It might also relate to the more established
culture of emergency medicine in those countries. Anyway, as Derek suggests,
such "cross-fertilisation" is very healthy for everyone concerned.
