Dear All
In a similar vein to Neil's mini-survey of last month, I am interested in
finding out how many Records Managers out there are responsible for Freedom
of Information and Data Protection.
FOI has been the catalyst for our management to re-think how to organise its
information management approach (presently scattered in pockets over the
council); however, as they have no idea how to proceed(!) they are looking
for guidance from myself and those colleagues with whom I've worked on our
FOI publication scheme. We're trying to persuade them to bring RM, FOI and
DP (among other things) closer together.
It would be useful to know:
* Type of organisation
* Do you have a designated Records Manager?
* Who is responsible for Freedom Of Information in your organisation?
* Who is responsible for Data Protection in your organisation?
* Who is responsible for ERM / scanning standards in your
organisation?
As with Neil I would of course collate the stats and post them to the list
so that everyone can benefit from this.
Regards to all!
