Hello, Duncan,
I'm very interested in network analysis of qualitative data. One of the
projects I've been working on with Howie Becker involves networks of actors,
producers, plays, etc. in an acting community. Another project examines
family linkages as they change over time during a life history. Since
Qualrus permits researchers to develop scripts for specific tasks, we're
developing a series of scripts that can be used in multiple contexts to
perform some of the common tasks of network analysis for qualitative data.
I'd love to hear more about how your project develops and I'd be happy to
discuss more of what we have done and how it might be useful.
Best regards,
Ed Brent
