The Local Government Association (LGIB) and the Local Government
International Bureau (LGA) are jointly organising a conference on:
Reception of Asylum Seekers and the Future of Refugee Integration Policy
Wednesday 25 June 2003 at Local Government House, London, SW1
This conference will explore current experience of asylum and integration
on a local, national and European level. In particular, it will focus on EU
asylum policy, the UK national integration strategy, the development of
regional strategies and will also look at individual case studies.
The event will be of considerable interest to all local authorities with
asylum and refugee integration management responsibilities, as well as
those with a general interest in asylum and refugee integration policy.
