i would like to point your attention to the 2003 Dublin Core conference in
Seattle, Washington USA. we are planning to have an environmental track this
year and want to solicit your contributions. here are some of the more
central topics that we have in mind:

use of metadata in the environmental domain
measurement and observation metadata
metadata for geospatial information resources, ISO 19115
environmental terminology
(environmental) gazetteer services

we would like to encourage you to submit either a paper or a poster.
contributed papers are due may 3, 2003;  proposals for posters are due May
17, 2003. detailed information is available @
