Yes John, from the sound of the deal that's on offer for GPs, I very much
believe that we should hold out for a better national contract. It's not
just staff grades that we're losing to GP land, but I now hear some A&E
consultants are considering jumping ship too!

Yes, Sir George is very impressive, I'm sure he's "on our side" John, but it
remains to be seen as to how far he can persuade central Government of our
plight. A small technical matter though, how come he was at your grand round
today, as I was speaking to him between 9am and 10am this morning in London?
