Ian,
There are quite a few logs dotted about the place.
/var/log/globus-gatekeeper.log (CE,SE)
/var/log/*ftp*log (CE,SE)
/usr/spool/PBS/server_priv/accouting (CE)
/opt/edg/var and /opt/edg/var/<VO> (SE)
You have all the standard pbs commands , eg
try running /usr/pbs/bin/qstat , /usr/pbs/bin/pbsnodes -a
both of whuch have various options.
