Hello Claire, would that be 'Cardiff Arms' then? ...the RMS of GB conference was held in Cardiff last April, and we took the opportunity to tour Cardiff Arms Park...rugby...fantastic...shame about the original ground though, it should have been 'archived' it had real character!
The real purposes of this response were: To remind everyone (who does not already know) that the RMS has an active Local Government Group (contact Stephen Howard); and to plug the upcoming RMS conference which will be held in Leeds (see www.rms-gb.org.uk for details); and to point to earlier work done by the PRO (see www.pro.gov.uk) concerning electronic records - less experienced list members may not have been aware of these. Good luck with your new group, I am sure it will prove very useful, especially in Wales. Best regards, Mike Marsh.

Hello folks,
This is just a "call to arms" so to speak for the above. The web site below
speaks for itself really. Please take a look. If anyone is interested in
becoming an active member of this newly formed group please make contact
with Anthony Sawyer (who is one of the key people driving this group
forward) off list on [log in to unmask] <mailto:[log in to unmask]>
Thanks
Claire
