The Multimedia Information & Technology Group (North West) is pleased to
announce a seminar entitled:
Technology without barriers: putting disability awareness into practice
Duties under the Disability Discrimination Act require providers and
facilitators of public services, and most recently of education and
learning, to take reasonable steps to ensure that disabled people are not
treated less favourably or placed at a substantial disadvantage. The
seminar will address both strategic and action plans for library and
information services.
