Hi Maewyn
As well as the various resources which have been given a related
issue is the need for URIs to be independent of the technology providing
the resource (e.g. URIs ending in .asp. .jsp, .cfm, etc. would change if
the backend tecvhnology changed) and, possibility, the format of the
resource - logo.gif would be better as logo allowing content negotiation
to serve logo.gif, logo.jpeg, etc. In addition foo would be better than
foo.html as it allows for foo.xhtml, foo.xml, foo.pdf, etc. - but there
implementation issues in doing this.
