I've some interest in that area - we have a group facilitated from this service
that works in this way - they've looked at things like identities as story
tellers and done a project called hidden voices looking at people's experiences
of institutionalisation.
We are looking at ways of extending the work some more.
I'm not directly involved, but have a general responsibility here.
I'm not quite sure what research would look like - but we (my colleaguies) have
done some work on self advocacy with more severely impaired people: I'll
attach the report.
