Now that is interesting. Our figures record the door time for ambulance
cases as when the ambulance logs arrival at the ED. As this is done from the
cab of the ambulance there is a systematic error due to the time taken to
get back to the patient, unload them and get them into the department. I'd
thought that our way of measuring it was the national way. It seems a more
consistent way than registration time. What's the situation elsewhere?
