The Surrey County Archaeological Unit moved into new premises within the
new Surrey History Centre (County Record Office) a few years ago and were
able to specify layout of their offices, stores, etc. If you are interested

Subject: Premises
Hi there
I am trying to find examples of where SMRs and also excavation units have
moved into newly refurbished or built premises, where the specification for
the work was written specifically to suit the needs of the SMR or unit. I
am
aware of new designs for archaeological stores, and the County Record
Office
world appears to be getting quite a few shiny new buildings, but does
anyone
know of similar projects for archaeology offices?
Regards
