Some sites are running like that now:
[burke@testbed010 rls]$ globus-job-run polgrid2.in2p3.fr /usr/bin/id
uid=1003(cmsgrid) gid=1399(zh) groups=1399(zh)
[burke@testbed010 rls]$ globus-job-run teras.sara.nl /usr/bin/id
uid=1904(iteam) gid=1217(iteam)
In normal EDG usage no-one should be creating files in the home directory,
although it can be useful for testing.
