I have tried the site with all three main web browsers - it seems to be a
pretty typical example of a site which does not adhere to proper web
standards. That is, it works with Internet Explorer only. With Netscape v
4.6 it will not display properly, and with Opera v 6.04 the display is
reasonable but probably not formatted as the compiler intended. Bill Gates
wins again!
It does look, after a short time browsing it, as if it needs everything
enabled - frames, Java etc. It is all frames - there is no conventional
text at all as far as I can see. Exactly the sort of site that wins web
awards and is totally useless to anyone who uses software which is designed
just to get data and ignores smart-alick bells and whistles. In my view all
"official" and "academic" sites should be straight noticeboards, using only
those sophistications that are essential. This site is designed to obscure
what is obviously valuable data
