Hi,
Just to let people know what I'm planning for the Testbed overview on
Thursday morning. I'm intending to have three slides showing the Green
Dots status (ie that everyone has got/had some sort of Globus gatekeeper
running); then a text summary of what's in the UK and available via the IC
RB (currently, ic, bham, man, liv, ucl, rl, and ox; plus some honourable
mention for bris and cam since they've been in a lot even if they're not
there now); then a summary of the whole EDG Testbed that's visible via the
CERN RB (ie ic, man, pd.infn, liv, cern, cc in2p3, pol in2p3, ox, nikhef,
cnaf.infn, rl) so people can see how we're doing EDG-wide. For this I'm
intending to take the stats from the MDS about what each site is actually
providing.
It would also help if sites provided a web page with a site summary. This
should be a similar format to the "Site Status" pages on
http://marianne.in2p3.fr/datagrid/giis/giis.html
(eg http://www.gridpp.ac.uk/sites/ral/ for RAL)
I can then link to these from http://www.gridpp.ac.uk/testbed.html (or
provide you with an area on www.gridpp.ac.uk you can maintain it at.) It's
important that these are "This is our CE" type information, not
publicity-speak paragraphs, since they're used when trying to understand
problems.
Once you've got one together and you're in the CERN RB, it's also worth
mailing [log in to unmask] (probably Sophie Nicoud) to get your site
added to that page on marianne.
Cheers,
Andrew
