The Department of Politics at Brunel University (London) is looking for somebody to teach
six sessions on Comparative Social Policy (broadly defined) in the second half of the spring semester.
The sessions could analyse social policies in different European countries and/or examine the EU
dimension of Social Policy.
This would be an ideal opportunity for a PhD student with relevant research expertise (and some teaching
experience) or a part-time lecturer in the field.
The sessions are part of a module on 'Comparative Public and Social Policy', which is core to the Department's
MA in Public and Social Administration. The module will run on Tuesdays from 2-4.30. The sessions
on Comparative Social Policy are scheduled for the three weeks before and after the Easter Break,
that is 25 March, 1 April, 8 April and 6 May, 13 May and 20 May.
