Dear Colleague,
The LTSN Physical Sciences Centre is part of the MathsTEAM project aimed
at supporting maths teaching in the physical sciences. The project will
produce 3 publications to help lecturers deal with the issue of maths
teaching, the third being information about diagnostic testing of
students. We would therefore be grateful if you would take just a few
moments to help by completing the short questionnaire below if you are
involved in diagnostic testing.
Could respondents please email your replies back to me by the 20th
January.
If you would like to know more about the MathsTEAM project please go to
http://ltsn.mathstore.ac.uk/mathsteam/index.htm for further information.

5. Does your department prepare fresher students prior to their arrival
at
university with regard to their mathematical skills, or general skills,
