Dear Colleagues,
This is the reply to the recent question of the Hussite Jews which has
come via MEDIAEVISTIK from Vaclav Bok (Institut für Germanistik,
I take this to mean that no Hussite in the 15th century would have
needed to fear reconversion to Catholicism. The notion of the Jewish
Hussite has a ring of desperation about it. Let us hope it at least
fulfilled its purpose in 1936.
