Hi
wonder if anyone would like to contribute ideas for this. Please mail Sonali
directly rather than the list (and please don't reply to me!)

Subject: Phrase book with dp's most frequently asked questions
Dear all,
I am conducting a small piece of research for a small international phrase
book with phrases and questions disabled people may need when in when
travelling and staying in a different country. For example, how would one
say 'Can I recharge the batteries of my electric wheelchair' or 'Those
needles are for my diabetes' in Polish or Urdu.
The first stage of this research is to ask people with different impairments
to send me 10 phrases/questions that they would consider to be useful to be
able to say in different languages. So, would you send me your 10
phrase/questions. Also if you know other disabled people who could help,
please pass this on to them.
Look forward to hearing from you all - please reply to

Best wishes
