italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies
Dear Colleagues,
The various discussions about videotaping films from TV that are now
occurring and have occurred in the past make me rather nervous. Do recall
that this material is under copyright. Yes, we would many times love to
get a copy of a difficult to obtain film or documentary in any way
possible, but I would suggest that it might be more appropriate to address
such remarks/replies directly to the person who is seeking the information
rather than announcing on an open list that individuals have made illegal
copies of tapes.
Just an ethical word to the wise...
Gloria Allaire
