It resources won't help, maybe then it is about learning to live with rather
than fight against or overcome? I know it is easy for me to say this. Does
it matter what you could do before that you can't do now? Have you come
across any of Susan Sontags work and in particular her book Illness as
Metaphor (1977)? You might find it of interest.
