Hello All,
I have some rather interesting survivorship curves (for domestic livestock)
that show a greater percentage survivorship for later fusing bones than for
intermediate fusing bones. At first I thought this may be due to poor
representation of the later fusing ends of bones but analysis of body part
representation shows there to be no apparent difference in representation
between these and earlier fusing bones. However I assume it is more likely
that the unfused ends rather than fused will be under-represented.
Does anyone have any other sugestions as to why this might occur or know of any
similar cases? I can send the graphs as an attachment if necessary.
Thanks in advance,
