Dear all,
I am very interested in hearing from people who have compiled a project
plan for the rollout of a CMS (Content Management System).
At York, in Spring 2004, a formal bid for funding a content management
system will be made to senior management.
Part of the bid will include a long-term project plan detailing how the
content management system software will be rolled out across campus. I
would be interested to know how other institutions have approached the
rollout of a CMS. Have externally facing pages been converted first? How
long has it taken to rollout the software to departments? Will parts of
a site never be converted? For example, staff personal home pages.
Your feedback would be much appreciated.
Best wishes,
Bill.
