Hello,
The main problem was control. We have some 70+ websites. None has any
consistency in look and navigation.
For us it was about quality control and branding in addition to meeting the
SENDA and Dublin Core requirements.
Other factors include the cost of the managment of FTP accounts,
Dreamweaver and Contribute installation, support and training.
Our proposals, extensive product evaluation and selection process took
about a year.
It was a very close tie between Reddot and ShadowMX. Both are excellent
products. We only narrowly chose Reddot. Both products met our criteria and
had their own individual merits. Reddot won mainly on the market share and
financial assessment of the company. We are now rolling out our
Internet/Intranet websites using Reddot.
Good luck
Ben
