Ben,
Here at Hertfordshire we are also using Shado and I can confirm John's
comments. We run on an Oracle/Solaris platform but started development on
SQLServer/W2000 while we were waiting for our server and it ported over
very easily.
One of the big advantages of Shado that we found was that it is
sufficiently 'out of the box' that you can get it up and running quickly
but it still has depth if you want to be more sophisticated and interact
with it programmatically (Using ColdFusion MX).
I would be happy to go into more detail if you wish to contact me directly.
Best wishes, Tom Short
