Exactly how is it too expensive to install MySQL (free), PHP
(free) and find a pre-written script to modify you could modify
to display member names?
Indeed, you could use the same database (or LDAP) table for the
member's usernames and passwords to restrict login, and store the
member details (plus some fields to record which details they
want others members to see, and which ones that only they and
you can see).
I would start with a search on http://freshmeat.net/ for
applications that handle membership lists.
