Dear All,
I am "pre-piloting" a VLE in the Department of Linguistics for the School of
Oriental and African Studies and so I'm trying to find other Linguistics
Departments that use VLEs to discuss their experiences and swap ideas.
So far I have only been able to come across lists for modern language
courses with discussion of issues such as the use of non-roman fonts. Whilst
I'm interested in these technical issues (e.g. how best to display tree
structures, use of audio and video clips) I would particularly like to find
colleagues to discuss content (The course I'm teaching is for MA students
and covers phonetics/phonology/morphology, but if you have experience of
courses in other fields/levels of linguistics I'd still be interested). Does
anyone have any suggestions/offers of help?
Best wishes,
