Hi to everyone
I think the Edutools site is well respected around the world, it reviews your software and then asks for comments/clarification. Although it is an American site it seems to have relevancy in Australia anyway.

Dear All, and especially Konrad,
I too am new to VLEs but I found this site:
http://www.edutech.ch/edutech/tools/comparison_e.asp
through the INSPIRAL report on digital libraries
(http://inspiral.cdlr.strath.ac.uk/documents/documents.html) which seems to
be what you are looking for in terms of comparisons of VLEs.
Your second request is also something I would be interested in finding out
about ...
Best wishes,

Subject: Types and users of VLEs
Greetings,
I am new to the VLE "thing" and was wonderining if anybody knows of a good
site that lists the major commercial players in the VLE business.
(Blackboard, WebCT etc etc) Also if it has a comparrison of their features
that would be really good.
Secondly is there a site somewhere in cyberspace where I could find a list
of school and colleges in the UK that use VLEs for their courses so that I
could perhaps contact some of them about their experience.
Thank you for your help.
