Ferl is organising an online conference about VLEs in January, and this
email is to give people chance to put it in their diaries.
Title: VLEs: beyond the fringe ... and into the mainstream
Dates: January 28th - February 4th.
Keynote presenters: Grainne Conole, University of Southampton; and Pete
Kilcoyne, West Midlands Regional Support Centre
As well as the keynote sessions, there will be numerous other workshops and
"ask the expert" sessions. These are currently being organised, but will
include presentations by a number of people and organisations on this list,
including Richard Everett, James Clay, Sara Dunn, Jisc, Techdis, etc.
We also are planning a suppliers exhibition area, and suppliers interested
in taking up this offer should contact me *off list*.
We also want to provide the opportunity for people to publish papers
relating to VLEs through the conference, and again, anyone interested in
this should contact me off list.
There will be a delegate fee for the conference, of £50, with discounts for
bulk registrations. Registration will open around the 24th November.
We'll be sending more information to the list about the online conference
later. In the meantime, any questions or comments should be sent to me at:
