Applications are invited for two new posts in the Learning and Teaching Systems section within Information Services at Cardiff University.
Our Learning and Teaching Systems section is committed to delivering support for the University's Learning Teaching and Assessment Strategy and the evolving 'eLearning' programme. The current priority for our expanding team is to deliver and support a fully functioning Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
We have two opportunities available.
Vacancy no. 219
Learning Technology Support Officer
You will take a proactive role in promoting and developing the opportunities that learning technologies offer for implementing the University's Teaching, Learning and Assessment strategy and virtual and managed learning environments. You will play a leading role in the systems management of the University's VLE, 'Blackboard'. You should have experience of the application of information technology to teaching and learning in eLearning environments. Experience of working with Blackboard and project management skills would be desirable. This post is fixed-term for 3 years.
Salary: £21125 - £27339 per annum

Vacancy no. 220
Learning Technology Support Assistant
You will be an adaptable and multi-tasking individual who thrives on new challenges and who will bring a dynamic, customer-focused approach to the working environment. You should have a flexible approach and an interest in eLearning. Experience of working with Blackboard or a similar virtual learning environment would be desirable. This post is fixed-term for 1 year.
Salary: £18265 - £20311 per annum
