ICF Consulting, Ltd. is seeking candidates for several transport specialist positions in our Bloomsbury office. We are interested in candidates at a variety of levels, including junior, mid-level, and senior transport specialists.
Technical skills would ideally include a strong transport economics background, experience in multiple European countries, and experience across a diverse range of transport modes and issues (e.g., passenger and freight; road, rail, aviation, and maritime; and environment, energy, and economic impacts). Backgrounds in planning, engineering, and public policy would each be a plus.
More senior candidates would be expected to be technically and managerially able to lead task order sized projects, such as those being issued under the EC Framework contract for transport economics we hold with the European Commission's Directorate-Generale for Energy and Transport. The candidate should be able to direct a team that includes both internal staff and sub-contractors. Senior candidates should also have sufficient business development experience to assist in building our UK and European transport practice.
We recruit talented and capable individuals and provide them with an environment that fosters creativity, balances teamwork and individual autonomy, and rewards individual achievement-both financially and professionally. We offer competitive salaries and excellent benefits. In October 2001, ICF Consulting was selected as one of the "50 Great Places to Work" in the Washington, D.C., area by Washingtonian magazine, and was selected as the "Very best chance to do good without working at a non-profit."
ICF Consulting is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
