"FINANCING TRANSIT SYSTEMS THROUGH VALUE CAPTURE: AN ANNOTATED
BIBLIOGRAPHY" by Jeffery J. Smith and Thomas A. Gihring, available at
http://www.vtpi.org/smith.htm. It summarizes various studies concerning the
effects of transit service on adjacent property values, and how those
compare with transit service costs.
Please let us know if you uncover any good quantitative studies not cited
in this report.
