Hi,
I second this. There is a huge amount of training that e-science
students need to receive in order to contribute anything (in addition to
the physics they are expected to know), and the current funding is
fairly inadequate for the purpose.
Perhaps this is another area where a coherent videoconferencing strategy
could pay dividends. Is there any way to use the famous accessgrid
system for such purposes (for those lucky enough to be at an e-science
centre)?
