it appears that the transatlantic gulf in English language has opened
again:-
like icecream on shingle. **not crazy about this one.. icecream on shingles?
as in roof tops? seems far fetched, hard to see as slow.
Shingle in Brit English is large gravel as found on seashores. Hence dropped
ice-cream melting fast and running away in summer.
