contextual examples of elements that tried to be those things and were not.
The fact that you find them completely lacking causes me to wonder about
your definition of "device", "metaphor" and what constitutes a clue of
knowledge.
You made those statements like a man with a strongly held opinion.... so
I would not find it surprising that someone asks you to explain the
requisites behind your subjective evaluation. Would you?
