Sorry Dean, I disagree. Poems can have a rhythmical quality that prose
lacks, say the same things, and still be poetry.

in fact to be worthy of any consideration at all, they must say something

ever read John Ciardi on this? "How does a poem mean"....check it out. I
don't think you'd find many college English profs who would agree with you.
